At a young age, Andrea found a love and passion for all things fine arts. Activities such as dance, music, and art gave her a way to release her creativity, while learning new skills. After a 6 year career as a teacher, she decided to shift focus, and start a business that gave her more freedom to be creative. She invested time in learning all about portrait photography by taking classes, and learning from other photographers. During the pandemic, To: The Simple Heart was born. The idea was to create an umbrella brand where she could share all things art related with others. She has been capturing families, couples, individuals, entrepreneurs, authors, influencers, and more for 7 years now. She believes that not one photography session is the same. Each brings a uniqueness and her goal is to capture authenticity.
When she is not behind the camera, she loves spending time with her family, reading a good book, and doing carpentry, DIY & home improvement projects.
